[Bgnet] The Richmond family

Hi Patti,

A cousin of mine (and Yours), Tom Bowerman, who lives in Lima, Ohio, sent me the attached pedigree info yesterday.  Jemima is the first wife of Thomas H. Bowerman our gggrandfather (Benoni - David - Ichabod - Thomas[3] ).  The curious link to the Richmond family (which I did not know before) led me to digging a bit deeper.   I remembered that you were also a descendant of the Richmond's so I looked at your pedigree chart on BGNet.

The info came from Ancestry.com; their "World Tree" (the subscription service).  I don't have a subscription, Tom does, so I can't verify or check it out.  I've asked him to do some more sleuthing.

BTW, the S. Richmond listed on the attached chart (shown as father to Cyrus) is also named Sylvester.  So that means there is a Cyrus (husband of Nancy Mastin), then a Sylvester (husband of Jane Bowerman), then another Cyrus (husband of Phebe Mott) and then another Sylvester (according to your pedigree chart on BGNet) in that lineage.

Question:  Do you have any more info (dates, sources, siblings, etc.) to add to the Richmond family?  I know I've read some info on the family but I can't seem to put my finger of the document(s) right now  ';o((   I think it was some Beekman Patent stuff.

Thought I'd put this on the BGNet mailing list to see if anyone else wants to respond.
