[Bgnet] Wonderful news

Randy,

Wow! . . . As I'm sure you know, Lorne Shunk introduced A.C. Bowerman's
manuscript of the Bowerman family, to the internet many years ago. With his
permission, I have been re-transcribing A.C.'s document over the past two
years, into a more "modern" piece; and at the same time correcting a lot of
errors that A.C. had made; and adding additional sheets that were recently
found by Jeffrey L. Staley (another researcher connected with the Bowerman
Genealogy web site). The only thing keeping me from finishing this effort
is good old time.

I think it a fair statement that A.C. Bowerman's "Bowerman Family of Ont.
Canada (1632 - 1916 inclusive)", provided more information about the
"Canadian" Bowermans than was ever previously known. His manuscript has
helped more people find their heritage than all the earlier data put
together.

Because of the importance of this newly discovered material to the Bowerman
family, I would like to request that every effort be made to begin
photocopying these new A.C. Bowerman documents and placing them in a
"special" section of your web site so that Bowerman researchers may begin to
reap the benefits of what appears to be completely new information.

I would of course be VERY appreciative if I could be involved in the process
of tanscribing this latest Bowerman related find and will be more than
willing to help in any way possible.

Lon
