[Bowerman Genealogy Discussion]

I am assisting a historian/archivist at the West Falmouth Library - he made
them available to me, as well as some new material there that I had not
seen.

I also have a full index of the holdings there for both of these familes -
another 150 pages, that I am sorting through.  A ton of letters, records,
etc., so I will be spending quite a bit of time at the library going through
these.

There is a presentation on the Bowerman/Gifford families scheduled at the
library on March 24th.  I will videotape it and make it available to you all
on DVD if you are interested.  Much of the data for the presentation is
extracted from our website (with permission) and the compliments on the
quality of data are overwhelming - many thanks to all of you for the help,
documentation, etc.

The historian is a member of the Sandwich Society of Friends, and is
allowing me access to some of the early Quaker records that are not
available at the archives - I'm thinking this might be some fun!

Anyway - I will try to update everyone on this material as I wade through it
- keep nagging me about it - lol!

Just as a note,  I have received a CD containing 52 photo albums of pictures

relating to the Bowerman/Gifford families, as well as others.

I have an index to the albums, which comprises about 150 pages of small 
print.

Due to the size of this monster, I most likely will not get it onto the 
website.  I will, however, attempt to add photo's to the individual records 
as I have time to go through them and sort what we already have.

Patti, I saw some names I know are associated with your family, so as I get 
to them, I will check as to whether you have them or not.
