So the most we ever did was a 37 marker up til now, right?
Sure wish we could get a couple more from the right lines to be tested.
I would sure love to have the Bowerman line provable for the Mayflower Society.

For those of you that are interested, the lab has now made a more precision DNA marker test available:

NEW DNA MARKERS AVAILABLE AND NEW PRICING SCHEDULE
You may have received a notice that FTDNA has added a new set of 22 markers to their DNA testing options, bringing the total number of markers that can be tested to 59. The price structure has also changed for upgrades, and the former 25 marker option is no longer available. The new pricing structure is indicated here:

Y-DNA12 (12 marker test for $99)
Y-DNA37 (37 marker test for $189)
Y-DNA59 (59 marker test for $269)

The 12 marker test is best at ruling out relatedness with another participant. The 37 marker test is more refined. And FTDNA is now offering the 59 marker test. Whichever you choose now can always be upgraded later for an additional fee as shown below:

Y-DNA12to37 for $99
Y-DNA12to59 for $189
Y-DNA37to59 for $99
Y-DNA25to37 for $49
Y-DNA25to59 for $148

Not a requirement at this time as we do not have any completed data on Ichabod or Sila's descendants. Should a completed pedigree be submitted however, it would be nice to get the more detailed testing done. I would however, like to get the refinement testing done on the Key Signature, if nothing else but to further refine the Bowerman DNA signature for eventual tracking in the UK.

Ron
