To do that, we need male descendants from other children of Ichabod, to find
out where the mutation occurred.  Was it actually inherent to your line, or
was it passed to others?

 

That mutation can actually be useful in "splitting the hairs" on family
branches, if it could be isolated.

yep, me too.  Also would love to do more with my specific line and
investigate those mutations--lol

Correct, Patti.  At that time, it was the most advanced test we had
available, and was more than adequate to meet our needs.

 

As I understand it, several of the societies will be requiring the higher
test to submit an undocumented link.  To bad we couldn't have gotten the
standards set with our case. it might not have been so tough as it will be
now.

 

I'd be really curious to see just how pure the family signature is!
